Asia Cup: Hitman Rohit met Babar Azam before the today's match

The blockbuster match between India and Pakistan is to be played on 28 August today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. This match will be played at 7.30 pm. On Saturday, ahead of the mega match of the Asia Cup 2022, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Pakistan captain Babar Azam were seen talking openly here on Sunday. During the training session of both the teams, both the legendary batsmen got a chance to chit-chat.

Pakistan Cricket Board shared the video

The video of the conversation between Babar and Rohit was posted on the official Twitter handle of the Pakistan Cricket Board. The Indian captain can be heard telling Babar Azam that they should get married. Rohit Sharma said, 'Brother, get married', when Rohit said this, Azam remained calm for some time and then laughingly replied that, 'I will not marry now.

Before Rohit, former India captain Virat Kohli also met Pakistan captain Babar Azam. He shook hands with Babur and encouraged him by turning his back. BCCI shared its video on social media. Apart from Kohli, there were other players including Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Suryakumar Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Dinesh Karthik and Arshdeep Singh.

Rohit will avenge his defeat

Significantly, today the match between the two teams will be their first meeting after last year's T20 World Cup. The Babar Azam-led side won the match by 10 wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium at the same venue last year. It was a major achievement for Pakistan as they claimed their first win over the Men in Blue in a World Cup match. In such a situation, now after a gap of 10 months, these two countries are again face to face. The team captained by Rohit Sharma will now have to avenge the past defeat.
