Boxers

Boxers Amit Panghal, Jasmine Lamboria and Sagar Ahlawat advanced to the semi-finals with victories in the quarterfinals of men's flyweight, women's lightweight and men's super heavyweight to secure three medals for India. In men's 92kg boxing, Sagar Ahlawat defeated Seychelles' KD Evans Agnes 5-0 to enter the semi-finals. Bhavina, in her women's singles category 3-5 match, defeated Latu 11-1, 11-5, 11-1. After Bhavina, India's Para table tennis star Sonalben Patel also made it to the semi-finals of the women's singles category by defeating Chineye Obiora of Nigeria.
