Birthday Special: 'Prince of Tollywood' Mahesh Babu

 




 

Mumbai : Mahesh Babu, popularly known as the superstar of South films and Prince of Tollywood, is celebrating his 47th birthday today i.e. on August 9. Mahesh Babu, who started his career as a child artist, was born in 1975 in Chennai. He graduated in commerce from Loyola College, Chennai. After graduation, Mahesh Babu met director L Satyanand for acting training and his training lasted for three to four months. Mahesh started his acting career at the age of just four. He worked as a child artist in the 1979 film Needa. After working as a child artist in 8 films, he started as a lead actor in 1999 with the film Rajakumaroodu.

Interestingly, Mahesh Babu do not know how to read and write Telugu. He memorizes his dialogues and then speaks. For his acting, he has won eight Nandi Awards, five Filmfare South Awards, four South Indian International Movie Awards, three Cinema Awards and one IIFA Utsav Award. The love story of Mahesh Babu, who has given many block buster films in his career, is also very interesting


Married after dating for five years

Mahesh Babu had decided to marry each other after dating Namrata for five years. Giving the name of their love-filled relationship, they married on 10 February 2005 and became husband and wife. Namrata had already decided that she would say goodbye to her film career after marriage and she did that. Namrata has been Miss India in 1993 and she had also worked in some Bollywood films. Namrata was last seen in the film Insaaf The Justice. She made her Bollywood debut in 1998 with the film Jab Pyaar Se Hota Hai opposite Salman Khan.


After saying goodbye to her film career, Namrata is enjoying  her family life to the fullest. After a year of marriage, son Gautam was born in the couple's house and after the son, they became parents of the daughter in the year 2012. Mahesh Babu and Shilpa Shirodkar's daughter's name is Sitara. The love between the two is still as much as it used to be earlier.


Namrata Shirodkar and Mahesh Babu are now leading their happily married life. The entire family lives in a luxurious bungalow in Hyderabad. Talking about Mahesh Babu's workfront, he worked in films like Potaram, Yuvaju, Murari, Bobby, Nani, Arjun, Pokiri, Spider, Businessman, Aagadu, Maharshi.

Neeraj Chopra created history again, became the first Indian to win the Lausanne Diamond League

  Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra achieved another golden breakthrough with a best throw of 89.08m at the Lausanne Diamond League Meet on Friday. Chopra became the first Indian to win the coveted Diamond League meeting title with the victory in Lausanne.
