New World Record by Indian school Children

 


On the occasion of 75th anniversary of Independence Day, a world record was created by singing patriotic songs in Rajasthan on Friday. In the program organized under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, one crore school students across the state made a place in the World Book of Records by singing songs of patriotism together from 10.15 am to 1:40 pm. The main event took place at Sawai Man Singh Stadium, Jaipur. Where about twenty six thousand school children sang patriotic songs together. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Education Minister Dr. B.D. Kalla was also present.

Pawan Kumar Goyal, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department said that 67 thousand government and 50 thousand private schools of the state were included in this. About one crore children sang six songs related to patriotism for twenty five minutes simultaneously. All over Rajasthan it was sung with a melody and rhythm at the same time. The children sang the national anthem Vande Mataram, Saare Jahan Se Achcha Hindustan hamara and the national anthem Jana Gana Mana.

Pawan Kumar Goel, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department said that 67,000 government and 50,000 private schools of the state were included in this. In which about one crore children studying from class 9th to 12th simultaneously sang 6 songs related to patriotism for 25 minutes. According to Goel, it was sung all over Rajasthan with a melody and rhythm at the same time.
