Oh my God! Tragedy again in Himachal, cloud bursts in Khaniyara, bridge shed

 

Once again the rain has created havoc in the tourist city of Himachal. The situation has become like a flood after cloudburst on Friday in Khaniyara Indrunag of Kangra district here. Due to the cloudburst, the bridge connecting Dharamsala and Khaniyara washed away, cutting off contact with the village. After the rain, a huge amount of debris came on the roads and all the roads were blocked. Several shops were also hit by the debris and the strong current of water and caused heavy damage. Fortunately, there is no news of any loss of life in this disaster. On the other hand, after the flood  situation, the administration has become alert and relief and rescue work has been started.

After the cloudburst, as soon as the water level of Ghurlu  increased, the shopkeepers ran away after closing their shops. The water was so much that immediately it took the form of a flood and vehicles, transformers got washed away in it. There has been heavy damage to the roads, houses and shops along the sewage. The bridge connecting Khaniyara and Dharamsala has also been completely damaged. After which the way of movement of people was closed. At the same time, after the sudden rains, a large number of children are stuck in their schools. According to preliminary information, many houses, shops have also suffered damage. At present, the administrative staff had left for the spot till the last information was received.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of bad weather in the state for six days. During this, many parts of the state may receive rain. The Meteorological Center Shimla has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains for September 4 and 5. During 24 hours, Nagrota Surian recorded 32 mm of rain, Bharari 27, Baldwara 26, Mere 23, Bijri 22, Gohar and Bilaspur 13-13, Bhoranj 9 and Nahan 3 mm.
